The Merjent Foundation offers several scholarships to students who demonstrate academic success and intend to pursue an environmental career in energy, archaeology, engineering, or other environmental field. The Merjent Foundation Academic Scholarship is a one-time $2,500.00 scholarship awarded to two individuals (one college freshman or sophomore, and one college junior or senior). The David Campbell Memorial Scholarship is a one-time $3,500.00 scholarship awarded to one college under-grad or graduate student.

Yumi Kashihara: “It is a great honor to receive the 2022 Merjent Foundation Academic Scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to dedicate my time to studying and having experiences through volunteering and internships without worrying unduly about financial hardships. Receiving this award will also further motivate me to continue studying and pursuing my career in sustainable city planning where I incorporate the voices of people and nature.”
Jenna Duncan: “Thank you so much for your support! This scholarship is helping me achieve my goal of attaining a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management with a concentration in Conservation and Resource Management. Receiving this scholarship means I can focus more on my classes and take advantage of research and leadership opportunities.
