WHAT WE DO

The Merjent Foundation is the giving arm of Merjent, Inc.  The Merjent Foundation honors the diversity of our team by supporting a broad spectrum of organization and institutions.  In addition the Foundation sponsors several scholarships to encourage future generation of experts. 2026 Donation - $24,000

To increase the impact of our giving the Merjent Foundation focuses support on a single cause each year. In 2026 the focus has been on charities addressing domestic violence . Local shelters, advocacy programs, and support services provide critical resources to individuals and families experiencing abuse. These services not only offer safe housing for people and their pets, but access to counseling, legal assistance, hygiene products, and other essential needs.

A charity that helps teachers and students achieve their full potential.

Faith's Lodge

Supports parents and families coping with the death or medically complex conditions of a child in a peaceful environment to reflect on the past, renew strength for the present and build hope for the future.

 A little pantry located in Georgia that helps food insecure school families during the COVID shut down.

 Combating homelessness in the Appleton, WI area.  

The Sheridan Story

 Works to bridge the food gap among children that don't qualify for free or reduced meal programs in Minnesota.  

Springboard for the Arts

 Supports artists who have lost income due to COVID-19. Their mission is to help artists thrive in communities by developing skills, information and services they need.  

House of Hope

 Supports families and children experiencing homelessness by providing a safe and stable environment.   

Paul's Pantry

 Food shelve supporting the community by providing food so their income can go other essential  necessities.  

Simpson House

 Advocates that everyone has a right to affordable housing. Provides shelter to homeless people in the Twin Cities Metro Area.  

Open Door Pantry

 Fights against hunger by providing access to healthy food.  

Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency

 Provides affordable transportation, early childhood programs, affordable and safe housing, employment/ training, and senior services to northeast Minnesota.

 The heart of this group is to provide safety, hope, and healing to individuals and families that experience trauma.  

Ben's Wish

 Fights food insecurity by hosting food drives to support local pantries, a weekend backpack program, and educational activities.

First Nations Development Institute
