WHAT WE DO

The Merjent Foundation is the giving arm of Merjent, Inc.  The Merjent Foundation honors the diversity of our team by supporting a broad spectrum of organization and institutions.  In addition the Foundation sponsors several scholarships to encourage future generation of experts. Kids Meals, Inc. (TX)

Makes and delivers free, healthy meals directly to the home of hungry children. Their mission is to end childhood hunger in the greater Houston area.

Every Meal (MN) - Formally Sheridan Story

Works to bridge the food gap among children that don't qualify for free or reduced meal programs in Minnesota. 

Feeding Our Community Partners

Engages the community to solve youth hunger in 30 schools in 5 school districts in Minnesota.  Currently there are 5 programs serving K-12 students.

Hunger Impact Partners

Increase access to nutritious food for infants and children in Minnesota.  Helps child thrive by providing nutritious meals.

The Food Group MN

Supplies over 200 food shelves and other hunger-fighting agencies with healthy and cultural specific foods.  The food group growths, buys, gleans, and processes fresh produce.

No Kid Hungry

National campaign to end childhood hunger by investing in programs in school & community meals through grants, advocacy, research, and policy.

Kaitlyn's Kloset - MN

Provides a welcoming spaces for families in Eagan, Minnesota that need resources (food, clothing, and personal items) regardless of race, age, gender, religion, or other discriminatory factor.

Child Hunger Program

Believes that every child, regardless of race, place, or class, deserves the food they need to grow and thrive to reach their greatest potential. They partner with schools and communities through grant-making, program expertise, and local food resources.

Panther Pack

Provides a backpack filled with food for students who are enrolled in free or reduced lunches at East Pennsboro Area School District.


2022 Donation - Year End Total $40,000

Family Promise

 A group that supports families in their community (Eau Claire County, WI) who are homeless by providing shelter and program to combat homelessness.  

Campus of Change (COTS)

Their goal is to end homelessness by enabling individuals to transition to self-sufficiency and stable, independent living in the Fox Cities.  COTS assists residents in their transition to self-sufficiency by providing a safe, affordable place to live, food, hygiene and household needs, and life skills training. 

Missouri Valley Coalition for Homeless People

 Our mission is to advocate for safe, stable, and life-affirming housing for all. 

Northern Michigan Supportive Housing (NMSH)

 Helps move those experiencing homelessness and mental illness into permanent supportive housing.  NMSH pairs affordable rental options with supportive services to help households overcome barriers related to maintaining and sustaining their housing.   

Golden House (Green Bay, WI)

Golden House is a comprehensive domestic violence program serving victims in Brown County.  Providing services to provide safety planning, support, housing, and preventive education.

The Link (Minneapolis, MN)

   Helps youth on the Northside of Minneapolis who were struggling with poverty, homelessness, getting victimized by crime or recruited into criminal activity 

Avivo Minneapolis, MN

Serving Minnesota since 1960, we specialize in helping individuals and their families who face complex barriers to success – poverty, homelessness, unemployment, chemical addiction or mental health concerns.

Native American Heritage Association NAHA, SD & WY

Is committed to fighting hunger with emergency food supplies and basic life necessities. NAHA’s trucks leave their office every day with loads of nutritious food that will be delivered to Crow Creek, Lower Brule, Pine Ridge, Cheyenne River and Rosebud Reservations.

Partners for Housing Mankato, MN

Serving the housing needs for vulnerable populations. The organization owns and operates a number of site housing facilities that provide different housing options. In addition to our emergency shelters, Theresa House, Union Street Place and Welcome Inn, we provide transitional and permanent affordable housing options to homeless and/or at-risk individuals and families in the Mankato area.

SafeHouse - Denver

Works to eliminate domestic violence in our communities by:  providing shelter and counseling to survivors of abuse; working with public and community agencies to improve the way our systems respond to domestic violence; and by offering educational programming to prevent future violence.

Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery

The mission of the Nursery is to end child abuse and neglect and create strong, healthy families.

Little Earth Resident Association - Urban Farm

The Little Earth Urban Farm (a LERA program) began in 2010 to inspire hope, nurture growth, uphold cultural traditions, and improve the health of Native families

Kids in Crisis

A group that supports youth in their community (Johnson County, IN) who are homeless by developing relationships and providing programs to break the cycle of homelessness.

Provides low-cost car repair, free pre-purchase car inspections, and honest advice that support the community. 

Northside Achievement Zone

Working to close the achievement gap and end generational poverty in North Minneapolis.  Supporting low-income families as they put their children on a path to college. 

Minnesota Assistance County for Veterans (MACV)

A charity working to end veterans homelessness in Minnesota.  They help veterans with housing, employment, and legal services.

Field of Dreams Hunt Program

Helps disabled sportsperson in the northwest Wisconsin pursue their outdoor dream.

Kids in Need

A charity that helps teachers and students achieve their full potential.

Faith's Lodge

Supports parents and families coping with the death or medically complex conditions of a child in a peaceful environment to reflect on the past, renew strength for the present and build hope for the future.

Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency

 Provides affordable transportation, early childhood programs, affordable and safe housing, employment/ training, and senior services to northeast Minnesota.  

Tubman

 The heart of this group is to provide safety, hope, and healing to individuals and families that experience trauma.  

Ben's Wish

 Fights food insecurity by hosting food drives to support local pantries, a weekend backpack program, and educational activities.
